How
confident are you that you have saved enough for retirement? The Employee
Benefits Research Institute (EBRI), an independent research firm, recently
released the results of its 24th annual Retirement Confidence Survey. According to EBRI, only 18% of the current workers
it interviewed were “very confident” they would have enough money to live on
comfortably in retirement, while 24% were “not at all confident.” These numbers
show only a slight improvement from the prior year and are significantly lower
than the years before 2008.
